Stardust ITN - Local training workshop (LTW)

Description:
The first LTW will take place over three days (February 11 – 13, 2015), and will be held in Belgrade, Serbia. It is organized within the Stardust ITN, but is open to all interested researchers. We particularly welcome young scientists – PhD students and postdocs who can contribute fresh ideas.It will be organized in problem-oriented sessions that will include: invited reviews, contributed talks and posters. Moreover, 6 hours will be devoted to the mini-projects/tutorials related to the topics presented by invited speakers. In these projects PhD students and postdocs will have a chance to apply the acquired knowledge to the solution of practical problems. In addition, there will be a complementary skill lecture, a round table discussion, and one public outreach event. The schedule of the workshop will also allow plenty of time for open discussion. To keep a small meeting atmosphere at most 50 participants will be admitted.
