Belgrade, April 19-25, 2008.

The school is part of the DAAD project Multimedia Technology for Mathematics and Computer Science Education. It is organized by Competence Center for Geometry and Visualization, University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mathematics.
Topics of the spring school include:
Introductory lectures on wavelets (Desanka Radunovic)
Lectures on dynamic geometry software and theorem proving (Predrag Janicic)
Introductory lectures on curves and surfaces via Mathematica (Srdjan Vukmirovic)
Lectures on presentation of mathematical contents on the Internet
Hands-on exercises and programming practices in a computer lab.
Guest lectures
The school is aimed to undergraduate students of Mathematics or Informatics. Postgraduate students interested in the topics of the school are also welcome.

Language: the official language of the school is English.
Number of participants is limited to 40.
Arrival date: Saturday, April 19th
Working days: April 20-25
Departure date: Friday, April 26th

Catering: lunch at the restaurant Muzej near the lecture rooms
Location of the lecture rooms: Faculty of Mathematics building, Vatroslava Jagica 5, on walking distance from the Hotel Slavija (see Map)

The deadline for applications is April 6th, 2008.
Members of Project partners institutions (Belgrade, Berlin, Budapest, Nis, Sofia, Skopje, Zagreb, Karlsruhe) should apply to their Project leaders.
